Acadia Healthcare in Sioux Falls and Canton is seeking an Intake Specialist to manage the intake process, greet clients, and coordinate with remote admissions and on-site teams to ensure a smooth arrival and initial assessment.

The role involves conducting intake screenings, assisting with paperwork, and orienting clients to the facility, while maintaining confidentiality and providing excellent customer service.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in patient care in behavioral health preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to use required computer programs.

Responsabilidades

• Liaise with clients and families to address questions.
• Coordinate facility tours with potential clients and families.
• Interface with admissions teams for necessary approvals and arrival plans.
• Establishes professional rapport with client to ensure welcome on arrival.
• Supports arrival process including coordinating assessment/bed placement and searches of belongings for prohibited items.
• Orients client to the facility and milieu.
• Liaises with care/clinical team to ensure treatment plan/schedule is set up as needed.
• Ensures intake paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and documentation is maintained.
• Discuss client’s financial responsibility and take payment as applicable.
• Provide exceptional customer service in line with Acadia Healthcare standards.
