Job summary

The Salvation Army in Indiana seeks an Intake Specialist to assess clients for placement into treatment programs, develop initial treatment plans, and ensure proper releases and signatures. You will coordinate with referral sources to meet service needs while upholding the mission.

Requirements include a Master’s degree or LMHC/LCAC or LCSW licensure, two years of office experience, and a valid driver’s license with Safe From Harm training within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Licensure Track (LMHC/LCAC) or LCSW required.
• Two years of office experience.
• Valid driver’s license and Safe From Harm training within first 90 days.
• Strong English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake/admission collecting demographic info and screening.
• Assess Withdrawal Management clients within 48 hours if medically stable.
• Enroll clients in funding programs by completing enrollment forms.
• Develop an initial treatment plan to initiate treatment.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments with the client.
