Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking an Intake Specialist in Indianapolis to assess clients for placement into SAHLC treatment programs and develop initial treatment plans. You will ensure releases are properly signed and coordinate with clinicians for appropriate care.

Requirements include a Master’s Degree or LMHC/LCAC or LCSW licensing, plus at least two years of office experience; a valid driver’s license and Safe From Harm training within 90 days are also expected.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for placement into SAHLC programs and complete required forms.
• Develop an Initial Treatment Plan for clients.
• Enter client information into the CSM system.
• Coordinate with referral sources to meet client service needs.
• Maintain client confidentiality per regulations and Salvation Army standards.
