Springpoint at Home in Skillman, NJ, is seeking a Full-Time Intake and Scheduling Coordinator for Stonebridge At Montgomery. The role handles patient intake, staff scheduling, EMR data entry, and communication with clients and the Home Care Supervisor.

The position offers weekday hours, with on-call rotation and potential weekend coverage as needed. Prior experience in a fast-paced home health setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced scheduling for home health.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year secretarial/administrative assistant experience.
• Experience with EMR and payroll/billing processes preferred.
• Strong data entry, typing, and telephone skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial intake of patients and gathers demographics.
• Coordinates clinical schedules for staff and communicates with field staff, clients, and Home Care Supervisor.
• Assist with data entry of patient and staff information into EMR.
• Coordinates visits and tracks verification before billing or paying caregiver.
• Processes and coordinates clinical documentation and communications.
• Notifies RN on call of client status changes and staffing issues.
• Performs pre-bill and payroll audit activities and resolves discrepancies.
• Notifies supervisor of inability to cover service requests.
• Receives and relays messages for field staff.
• Assist with weekend scheduling and on-call coverage.
