Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree in a human relations field or Registered Nurse.
• Experience: 2+ years in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting.
• Licensure: Licensed to practice in the State of Texas as a mental health professional (LPC, LPC-Intern, LMSW, or LCSW) or RN.
• Handle With Care Training within 90 days of employment and CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake assessments and crisis intervention.
• Provide information about hospital services and resources to patients.
• Refer patients not meeting admission criteria to community resources to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist with call center functions and support Psych E.D. operations.
