Job summary

San Antonio Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse to provide general and psychiatric nursing care to inpatients with mental health concerns. The RN will assess patients, plan and implement care, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective treatment and discharge planning.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, documenting progress, and delivering education to patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (Texas)
• Minimum 2 years clinical behavioral health experience
• CPR/BLS required; ACLS/CPI a plus

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan individualized psychiatric nursing care.
• Coordinate admission, treatment, and discharge planning with care team.
• Supervise nursing support staff and ensure documentation compliance.
• Provide education to patients and families about care plans.
