Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking an Assessment Clinician to perform telephonic, telehealth, and in-person risk assessments, coordinating referrals and determining appropriate levels of care. You will support admissions with psychiatrists and nursing staff while ensuring ongoing communication with families and referral sources.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, crisis intervention experience, and CPR/AMSR trainings offered upon hire. PRN weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Human Services field with crisis experience.
• Registered Nurse credential; LCSW/LPCC/LMFT preferred.
• Crisis intervention, CPR, AMSR trainings offered upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performing initial clinical assessments to determine level of care.
• Coordination and disposition of all referral calls to appropriate level of care.
• Completion of all admission with psychiatrists and nursing staff.
• Completing pre-certification information and forwarding to appropriate agencies, in conjunction with Business Office and Utilization Review.
