Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Care Center Specialist for the night shift at El Paso Behavioral Health System. You will assist in receiving inquiries, scheduling, and referring calls to support admissions and coordination with intake teams.

Requirements include a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred in a human-related field), prior hospital intake or business office experience, and CPR certification. Handle With Care training within 90 days is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required. Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in Human-related field.
• Experience: Experience working in a hospital intake department or business office preferred.
• Additional Requirements: Successful completion of Handle With Care Training within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting with restraining procedures. Must have and maintain current CPR Certification.
• May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• The Care Center Specialist is responsible for assisting in the process of receiving, scheduling, and/or referring inquiry calls.
• Assist the Care Center Intake Counselors, Coordinators, and Director with coordinating assessments, initiating Intake paperwork and insurance information.
• Work with Admission Clerk to ensure a smooth transition into the admission process.
