Job summary

El Paso Behavioral Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and evaluate patient care with the health team per nursing standards. The role requires current Texas RN licensure and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Availability on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday is required.

The RN will participate in medication administration after passing the required exam and maintain CPR certification at hire. Handle With Care training is also required during orientation.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of one year nursing experience preferred.
• Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
• Additional Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam; CPR certification required; Handle With Care training.

• Coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaboration with the health team in accordance with nursing process and standards of care per Texas Board of Nursing.
• Ensure high-quality care delivery, safety, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
