Job summary

Seattle's Union Gospel Mission in Seattle, WA seeks an Intake Support Associate I to coordinate intake and assess guest needs for emergency and recovery programs. The position offers Monday–Friday hours, a target starting pay of $23.69 per hour, and collaborative teamwork to maintain a safe, dignified intake environment while supporting program goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a social services environment.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the intake process including inquiry calls, phone screens, scheduling and intake to appropriate program.
• Assess applicant ability to live independently and evaluate needs in health care, mental health, and addiction.
• Make admission decisions in collaboration with program management.
• Record, report, and maintain required pre-intake screening tools and data into Clarity.
• Collaborate with mission programs and outside agencies to serve guests seeking services.
• Perform drug screening when appropriate for program intake.
