HealthRIGHT 360 seeks an Intake Coordinator I to assess candidates for medical necessity, complete ASAM assessments, and coordinate urgent referrals for medical and mental health needs. You will work with counselors, case managers, and therapy staff to stabilize new clients and ensure warm handoffs to treatment teams.

The role includes conducting individual and group counseling, psychoeducation, relapse prevention, harm reduction, crisis intervention, and case management, with a focus on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Registration or Certification as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor from an accredited CA agency (CCAPP, CAADE, CADTP).
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• At least one year of experience in the substance abuse treatment field.
• Experience with culturally diverse populations with co-occurring disorders or history of incarceration is desired.

Responsabilités

• Perform initial assessment and intake evaluation for treatment planning.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure clients meet admission criteria for appropriate treatment level.
• Provide case management services (housing, employment, finance management, court reports, DCFS communication).
• Provide group, family, and individual counseling; facilitate group sessions on recovery, trauma, and related topics.
• Maintain treatment plans and coordinate with the treatment team; ensure timely documentation.
