Job summary

The Mission is seeking an Intake Support Associate I in Seattle to coordinate intake processes for emergency and recovery programs, provide spiritual leadership, and support guests on their path to independent living.

Key duties include screening inquiries, assessing needs, and collaborating with program management to admit guests while maintaining safety and dignity in intake spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a social services environment
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Possess a valid Washington State Driver’s License and be able to meet the standards of the Mission driver criteria including: clean driving record, license for at least one year, no suspensions or revocations, at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the intake process including inquiry calls, phone screens, scheduling and intake to appropriate program
• Assess applicant ability to live independently and evaluate special needs in health care, mental health, and addiction
• Make admission decisions in collaboration with program management
• Record, report, and maintain required pre-intake screening tools and statistical information
• Directly coordinate with mission programs and outside agencies to serve homeless neighbors
