Job summary

Seattle's Union Gospel Mission is seeking a Support Services Associate I to maintain facility safety, order, and cleanliness and to provide backup assistance to other staff. The role features a 6:00AM–2:30PM weekday schedule and a starting pay of $21.30 per hour.

You will perform janitorial duties, assess hazards, assist with admin tasks, and support Guest Services including drug screens when needed. The position requires a high school diploma and customer service experience.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience is highly preferred.
• Previous janitorial experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties, including duties left over from a different shift.
• Assess and record safety hazards and maintenance needs.
• Record and organize messages for clients and staff.
• Provide referrals for callers when necessary.
• Assist with a variety of administrative duties.
• Act as backup to Guest Services by performing Breathalyzer tests and Urine Analysis drug screens for individuals entering the building after curfew or returning from the hospital.
