Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking staff for the ARC program to support admissions, eligibility determinations, and beneficiary onboarding. You will handle interviews, orient new entrants to services, and manage records with attention to CFR 42 and HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities include referrals, outreach, cross-training for Program Aide tasks, and occasional duties assigned by supervision.

Qualifications

• BA in a social service field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Screening interviews at the center or with referral agents.
• Process admissions, orient beneficiaries, and manage records.
• Refer ineligible applicants to appropriate agencies.
• Maintain outreach with referral sources; use ARC vehicle at times.
• Attend inter-agency meetings and prepare required reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of all records and perform duties as assigned.
