Job summary

The Salvation Army ARC San Bernardino is hiring for an on-site role with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. The position requires screening, intake processing, referrals, outreach, and documentation within the ARC software system (BITS).

Qualifications

• BA in a Social Service field preferred.
• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Two years of related professional experience required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn BITS ARC software.

Responsibilities

• Conducting screening interviews at the center or with community agencies to determine eligibility for admission.
• Process admitted beneficiaries by orienting them to services and obtaining signatures; create records in ARC software (BITS).
• Refer ineligible applicants to other agencies or institutions.
• Maintain outreach with referral sources and attend meetings to ensure adequate referrals.
• Prepare reports or statistics as required by Center Administrator.
• Maintain confidentiality of all beneficiary records and related data.
