Job summary

Gifthealth is seeking an Intake Specialist Lead to supervise a team of Intake Specialists, ensure timely and accurate prescription intake, and drive process improvements within the Operations and Process Automation team.

The role combines hands-on intake with frontline leadership, supporting onboarding, training, and performance management while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and payer requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license in Ohio in good standing.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a pharmacy operations environment.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Intake Specialists with daily guidance and coaching.
• Serve as primary escalation point for intake issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Oversee onboarding, training, and peer mentoring of new Intake Specialists.
• Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and ensure targets and SLAs are met.
• Ensure accurate prescription processing and billing in compliance with regulations.
