Job summary

The Ranch at Dove Tree, a Summit BHC facility in Lubbock, TX, seeks an Intake Coordinator PRN to manage front desk operations, triage calls, and schedule admissions. You will verify insurance, perform pre-registration, and coordinate with providers to ensure timely intake.

The role emphasizes compassionate client interactions, accurate documentation, and support for admissions staff. PRN schedule and facility-wide collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• 1+ years healthcare admissions experience preferred.
• Experience in client assessment and referrals.
• Strong interpersonal, interviewing, and communication skills.
• Telephone etiquette and paging procedures knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-admission assessments and interviews.
• Reviews admissions against criteria, policies, and procedures.
• Generates discussions with referrals for client support and business development.
• Arranges transportation and coordinates admission logistics with facilities.
• Documents daily activities in the CRM and maintains records.
• Verifies insurance benefits for private admissions.
• Maintains waiting list and contacts candidates for admissions.
