The Ranch at Dove Tree in Lubbock, TX is seeking a part-time Intake Coordinator PRN to manage the front desk operations, answer inquiries, perform pre-registration, verify insurance eligibility, and coordinate admissions with clinical and administrative teams.

You will conduct pre-admission assessments, interview clients and families, document activities in the CRM, arrange transportation, and maintain waiting lists, while ensuring compassionate, compliant service for clients and their families.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field preferred.
• One or more years' experience in healthcare admissions preferred.
• Experience in client assessment, referral, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
• Knowledge of community resources.
• Outstanding interpersonal, interviewing and assessment skills; telephone etiquette and paging procedures.

Aufgaben

• Pre-admission assessments.
• Interview clients, family members and collateral sources to ensure intake criteria are met.
• Generate and lead discussions with referral sources for client support and business development.
• Respond to needs of referred clients.
• Assess family needs for mediation and determine appropriate resources.
• Decide which Interventionist and facility to recommend, including dates and travel.
• Coordinate with other departments and external parties to ensure timely admission of clients.
• Document daily all activities, contacts, appointments, and events in the CRM; maintain admissions documentation.
• Verify insurance benefits for all private insurance admissions.
• Screen calls and arrange transportation for admission; maintain waiting list for admissions.
