Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for winter 2026/27 across a range of seasonal roles, with the Transportation Team seeking a Shuttle Driver to move guests and teammates safely along designated routes. No CDL is required to apply, and every trip should be completed with professionalism and care.

Starting wage is $21.00–$25.20 per hour on a Winter Seasonal contract. Strong English skills, a clean MVR, ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT medical card are required; housing is not provided.

Qualifications

  • MVR meets company safety standards.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and obtain a DOT Medical Card for driving roles.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport guests and employees to designated locations.
  • Operate shuttle vehicles along scheduled routes and assist with unscheduled pickups and drop-offs.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation.
  • Fuel, clean, and maintain assigned vehicles.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and team members.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets company safety standards.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and obtain a DOT Medical Card.
  • Ability to obtain a CA or NV CDL within 30 days of employment.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous driving, transportation, hospitality, or tourism experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a vehicle.
  • Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently.
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.

The expected pay range is$21.00/hr - $25.20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
