Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to join our Financial Services Organization. You will collaborate with client teams to translate complex business problems into technology solutions, guiding engagements from requirements through implementation.

You will work in a hybrid model, travel as needed, and contribute to data management, policy systems, and performance measurement for financial services clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Industrial Administration, Business or a related field with 5+ years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience defining business and technical requirements
• 3+ years of relevant experience working at a financial services company or advising property and casualty insurers
• 2+ years of experience leading a team of business analysts and technology analysts
• Experience with Guidewire, OneShield, Exigen/EIS, Majesco, Duck Creek, Insurity, Sapiens/Adaptik, FirstBest, Business Objects, Cognos, Informatica
• Proficiency in system and vendor selection and implementation; definition of business and technical requirements; architecture design; BI/decision support; PMO

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architect solutions
• Analyze and align requirements with technology architecture and infrastructure
• Support engagement teams with requirements, architecture, conversion and testing plans
• Collaborate with client teams and mentor junior resources
• Provide insights from data sources to verify solutions meet business needs and identify new opportunities
• Travel to client sites as necessary
