Job summary

EY is hiring for an Insurance technology and business analysis role in the United States. You will work directly with clients to transform business problems into technology solutions, focusing on claims, underwriting, policy and billing transformation initiatives across the Financial Services Organization.

The role requires extensive experience in business analysis, architecture alignment, and leadership of multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Industrial Administration, Business or a related field and 5+ years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience defining business and technical requirements; alternatively, a master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Industrial Administration, Business or a related field and 3+ years of work experience defining business and technical requirements
• 3+ years of relevant experience working at a financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor to property and casualty insurance carriers on personal or commercial lines of businesses
• 2+ years of experience managing and supervising a team of business analysts and technology analysts through all phases of the technology life cycle
• Knowledge of software engineering methodologies, reporting tools, process flows, data flows, traceability matrices, modeling and testing strategies
• Experience with Agile SCRUM methodology, business analysis methodologies and business analysis documentation standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical writing and client presentations

Responsibilities

• You’ll be responsible for working directly with clients to transform their business problems into technology solutions.
• Support our clients' efforts to make their business units more effective and efficient and provide services in remediation and mitigation of process risk.
• Assist engagement teams through analysis of specific business requirements for alignment with technology architecture and implementation plans.
• Mentor junior resources on the team and foster an innovative and inclusive team environment.
