The Jessica Barns Agency in Coldwater, Michigan, is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our growing team. This role focuses on connecting with prospective customers, presenting coverage options, and building long-term relationships in a professional environment.

No insurance experience is required—training and guidance are provided. You’ll learn sales techniques, expand your knowledge of Auto/Home/Life/Business insurance, and have opportunities for advancement within Farmers Insurance.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn insurance industry
• Active insurance license or willing to obtain
• Experience in sales, retail, hospitality, banking, customer service or other people-focused roles
• Bilingual applicants encouraged

Responsabilités

• Create new sales opportunities by contacting prospective customers through calls, referrals, provided leads, and other prospecting activities
• Learn about customer needs through conversations and identify opportunities to provide appropriate coverage
• Prepare and present quotes for Auto, Home, Life, Business, and additional insurance products as licensed
• Explain coverage options, address questions, and confidently ask for the sale
• Follow up with potential customers, outstanding quotes, and previous leads
• Expand existing customer relationships by identifying opportunities for additional coverage and policy reviews
• Manage your sales pipeline using agency systems to track customer information, conversations, and follow-up activities
• Work toward sales and production goals while contributing to the agency's growth
• Continue to develop skills through training, coaching, and hands-on experience
