Job summary

Farmers Insurance in Fremont, MI is seeking an Agent in Training to join a high-performing agency. This full-time role focuses on sales production while gaining hands-on exposure to agency operations under mentorship from a top-performing agent.

You will learn sales, marketing, budgeting, and leadership as you build a career toward future leadership opportunities in the district. Compensation includes base pay and uncapped commissions, with a Monday–Friday schedule and agency-provided leads.

Qualifications

• Insurance experience is a plus but not required.
• Drive and personality to succeed.
• Previous experience in sales, insurance, management, business development, hospitality, banking, recruiting, or another relationship-driven environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build your pipeline using agency-provided leads and by prospecting.
• Make outbound calls and follow up with prospective customers.
• Quote and sell insurance products and cross-sell to existing and new customers.
• Build referral relationships and generate new opportunities.
• Meet and exceed individual sales and production goals.
• Learn the business behind the sales and agency operations.
