The Nicholas Myers Agency - Farmers Insurance in Portage, MI is hiring an Insurance Sales Representative to join our in-office team. You’ll earn a base salary plus commissions, with an estimated first-year income of 55,000 to 85,000 or more depending on performance.

We provide licensing support, hands-on mentorship from an experienced agency owner, and a clear path toward agency ownership. Training, coaching, and access to quoting tools help you build client relationships and grow your sales

At the Nicholas Myers Agency - Farmers Insurance, you'll earn a base salary plus commissions while developing your skills alongside an experienced Farmers Insurance agency owner. We're looking for someone who wants to succeed in sales today and work toward building a business of their own.

Whether you have insurance experience or are bringing strong skills from another industry, you'll receive coaching, licensing support, and hands-on experience helping clients protect what matters most.

What We Offer

• Base Salary + Commissions: Earn a base salary of $30,000 - $36,000 plus performance-based commissions. Estimated year 1 income = $55,000-$85,000+ (dependent on sales performance)

• Licensing Support: We cover your pre-licensing course and study materials and reimburse exam fees after you begin employment.

• Hands-on Mentorship: Receive direct coaching from an experienced agency owner on prospecting, client conversations, closing sales, and agency operations.

• Career Growth: Work toward agency ownership or managerial advancement through a structured development path. Ownership requires meeting applicable production, licensing, financial, and approval requirements.
