Job summary

The Nicholas Myers Agency - Farmers Insurance in Portage, MI is hiring an Insurance Sales Representative to join our in-office team. You’ll earn a base salary plus commissions, with an estimated first-year income of 55,000 to 85,000 or more depending on performance.

We provide licensing support, hands-on mentorship from an experienced agency owner, and a clear path toward agency ownership. Training, coaching, and access to quoting tools help you build client relationships and grow your sales

Qualifications

• Base salary + commissions with potential year 1 income of 55,000–85,000+ depending on sales performance.
• Licensing support including pre-licensing course, study materials, and exam fee reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Build your sales pipeline through outbound calls, follow-up, and referrals.
• Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance coverage.
• Quote and sell auto, home, life, and other products as licensed.
• Pursue activity and production goals with regular coaching.
• Develop lasting client relationships through responsive service.
• Learn how sales, retention, and daily operations drive agency success.
