Farmers District 40 & 94 is seeking an Insurance Sales Representative to convert prospects into customers, assess insurance needs, and sell Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial policies. You will build relationships, meet sales goals, and grow your knowledge through training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales, customer service, or insurance experience preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Confidence making outbound calls and having sales conversations
• A strong work ethic and desire to achieve measurable goals
• Excellent organization and time‑management skills
• A willingness to learn and apply coaching
• Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license preferred, or willingness to obtain
• Bilingual abilities are a plus

Responsibilities

• Generate new business by identifying prospects, conducting outreach, and following up with leads
• Meet with customers to understand their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage
• Sell and cross-sell insurance products, including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial policies
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and follow‑up
• Work toward individual sales goals while contributing to overall agency growth
• Follow up with quotes, prospects, and existing customers to identify additional opportunities
• Stay current on insurance products, services, and compliance requirements
• Use CRM tools to organize leads, follow-ups, customer information, and policy activity
• Participate in team meetings, sales training, and strategy sessions
