Farmers District 40 & 94 is seeking an Agent Apprentice to build a long-term career in insurance sales. You'll work directly with an experienced agency team while developing your sales skills, insurance knowledge, and client relationships.

This role is performance-driven with base pay, uncapped commission, paid training, and ongoing coaching. Prior sales experience is valued, licensing will be supported, and there are clear opportunities for advancement and leadership within the agency.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience or demonstrated success meeting measurable goals.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and asking for the sale.
• Motivated by performance and earning potential.
• Persistent when faced with rejection or setbacks.
• Coachable and willing to apply feedback.
• Organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license preferred, or willingness to obtain required licensing.

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospects through leads, referrals, outbound calls, and follow-up.
• Learn about client needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
• Quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other insurance products.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify cross-selling and additional coverage opportunities.
• Manage your sales pipeline and maintain consistent follow-up.
• Work toward individual and agency production goals.
• Participate in ongoing sales coaching and insurance training.
