Job summary

The Auto Club Group is seeking Insurance Sales Agents in Durango, CO to drive new business, retain members, and grow the insurance book through competitive products. You will use consultative sales techniques and product knowledge to assess client needs, recommend coverage, close sales, and build lasting relationships with members and prospects.

This in-office role offers ramp-up earnings support during the initial months, a Monday–Friday schedule, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Property & Casualty Insurance license.
• Current Life Insurance license.
• Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses/appointments for selling products.
• 1+ year of sales or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Use sales techniques and product knowledge to identify client needs and generate new sales.
• Close sales by overcoming objections and aligning coverage to client needs.
• Meet or exceed targets per the incentive plan and management direction.
• Conduct insurance reviews to identify suitable products for clients.
• Quote, bind and issue policies using underwriting guidelines and tools.
• Engage in market-based outreach to build networks and trust with clients.
