Job summary

The Auto Club Group is seeking Insurance Sales Agents in Durango, CO to drive new business, retain members, and grow the insurance book through consultative selling. You’ll assess needs, recommend coverage, close sales, and build lasting relationships with members and prospects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current Property & Casualty Insurance license.
• Current Life Insurance Sales license.
• Maintain state licenses and appointments for selling Auto Club Group products.
• Health and Accident licenses as deemed necessary.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer-specific needs to generate new sales and grow the book of business.
• Overcome objections to close the sale or retain the insured.
• Meet or exceed targets as defined in the sales incentive plan.
• Conduct insurance reviews to identify suitable products.
• Engage in market-based outreach at business establishments to solicit new business.
• Respond to inquiries relating to insurance, membership and financial products.
