Job summary

Susan Kirk Rosales-State Farm is seeking an outgoing Agent Team Member to join our State Farm independent contractor agency in Ann Arbor, MI. You will establish relationships, educate customers about insurance options, and grow the business through needs-based conversations.

Preferred candidates have sales experience, strong communication, and the ability to present to clients. Licensing in property, casualty, life and health may be pursued after joining the agency.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to engage customers and close opportunities.
• Ability to present products and options to potential customers.

Responsibilities

• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service regarding insurance availability, coverages, and billing.
• Educate customers about insurance options using a needs-based review process.
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, and market appropriate products and services.
