Job summary

State Farm in Streamwood, IL seeks a motivated professional to join our team providing customer service and supporting agency operations. You will help implement office policies and ensure excellent experiences for policyholders and prospects.

You will build relationships, educate customers on insurance options, and coordinate with team members to meet agency goals while preparing for required licenses in Property & Casualty and Life & Health.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Experience in customer service required.
• Experience in sales preferred.
• Able to obtain Property and Casualty License.
• Able to obtain Life and Health License.
• Able to coordinate and collaborate with others to achieve agency goals.

Responsibilities

• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service including inquiries about insurance options, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Use a needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
• Ensure the office is well-maintained and equipped to meet customer needs and to market relevant products.
