Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a highly motivated associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience in complex insurance coverage for a non-litigation role in San Francisco. You will advise domestic and international insurers on coverage issues across liability policies, analyze rights and obligations, and draft coverage opinions.

The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and writing skills, be admitted in California or another U.S.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic credentials.
• Admitted to practice in California or another U.S. jurisdiction.
• Experience in complex insurance coverage matters; litigation experience is a plus.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze rights and obligations under insurance policies and draft coverage opinions.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda.
• Review pleadings and other materials to evaluate insurance coverage implications.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues on coverage strategy and policy interpretation.
• Attend arbitrations, hearings, and mediations as needed.
• Manage matters, deadlines, and client communication proactively.
