The role requires California bar admission (preferred) and a proven ability to manage multiple matters with deadlines, plus strong writing and analytical skills. Hybrid work options and competitive bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to the bar; California bar admission strongly preferred.
• Experience in insurance coverage.
• Excellent academic credentials or solid work history.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Interpersonal, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive matters.
• Capability to manage time-sensitive matters.
• Proficient in managing and prioritizing multiple projects.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and claim materials.
• Draft coverage opinions and provide client recommendations.
• Prepare correspondence for colleagues and clients.
• Analyze documents for litigation purposes.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery.
• Draft pleadings and briefs.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Attend and advocate at hearings and mediations.
