Kin Insurance seeks an Insurance Counsel - Forms to draft and finalize policy language for new states and products. You will own a line (personal auto or property) drafting, and serve as a legal advisor on form wording and regulatory interactions.

You’ll collaborate with Claims, Product, and Customer Experience to ensure robust, filing-ready forms. You will draft, review, and improve forms packages, respond to DOI objections, and design reusable language to accelerate future state launches.

Qualificações

• JD degree and bar admission required.
• 5+ years of policy form drafting experience, or equivalent.
• Experience drafting personal lines policy forms for multiple states.
• Ability to read state statutes and translate requirements into policy language.
• Experience responding to regulator objections and advising internal partners on coverage interpretation.

Responsabilidades

• Research state statutes and translate into compliant policy wording.
• Draft responses to regulator objections on forms and advocate Kin's position with regulators.
• Provide legal advice on coverage interpretation to internal teams.
• Draft new state and product forms packages including base policies, endorsements, and notices.
• Perform first-pass legal review of drafts and escalate novel state law questions.
