Brethren Village Retirement Community, in Lititz, PA, is seeking an Insurance & Admission Associate for full-time employment .
Individuals who have at least 1 year of experience processing insurance authorizations / verifications within a healthcare setting;who have experience interpreting medical referrals and health insurance policies; and who possess experience in a customer service role are encouraged to apply.
The Insurance & Admission Associate works collaboratively with other professionals to help maintain the optimal level of occupancy in Brethren Village's Skilled Nursing Facility, Short-term Rehabilitation Center, and Personal Care areas, based on the organization’s goals and the needs of older adult Residents. The Insurance & Admission Associate effectively coordinates and administers insurance verification and admission-related functions to help achieve or exceed the organization’s budgeted occupancy goals.
The Insurance & Admission Associate reviews referrals and insurance policies, requests and obtains authorizations, and verifies health insurance coverage prior to admission to our facilities.
The Insurance & Admission Associate also performs general admission and marketing-related functions, including meeting with and providing accurate information and facility tours to prospective Residents and their family members.
