Qualifications

• A Property and Casualty License from state of domicile is required and must be maintained.
• Associate in insurance (AINS) and/or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) Designation preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Four-year degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of client service experience in the insurance industry with a focus on commercial lines.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus or a must in some locations.
• In-depth understanding of commercial lines of coverage.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills for both in-person and teleconference/webinar sessions.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills are required to maintain effective relationships with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors and others.
• Must be able to understand written and oral communications and interpret information written within policies.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), agency management systems software, and online rating systems.
• Intermediate knowledge of insurance markets, products, services, insurance ratings and underwriting procedures.
• Must have a valid driver's license, the ability to travel to client sites and a reliable source of transportation.

Responsibilities

• Serves as initial point of contact for the client.
• Monitors client questions, provides recommendations with Account Management Team on coverage changes.
• Identifies, researches and resolves routine client issues.
• Maintains client files accurately and ensures proper documentation and communication per workflow.
• Keeps accuracy in document management systems.
• Assists with remarketing renewals to improve account retention.
• Prepares proposals as directed by the Account Manager.
• Reviews policies from carriers for accuracy and expedites corrections.
• Handles endorsements and applications.
• Ensures carriers respond promptly to expedite claim settlements.
• Reviews policy audits for accuracy and executes corrections as directed.
• Communicates significant audit differences to client proactively.
• Reviews cancellation requests to retain clients while protecting company interests.
• Keeps up to date with industry trends, products, legislation, coverage, and tech to improve service.
• Adopts innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, to deliver best-in-class service.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.
