American National Insulation is seeking a Sales Consultant to grow our residential and light commercial accounts with energy-efficient insulation and building materials. You will identify prospects, make sales calls, present proposals, and manage accounts from sale to completion.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
• Travel Requirements: Local; >50% travel
• Flexible schedule may include evenings and weekends
• Physical requirements: standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license required if operating a vehicle

Responsibilities

• Sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.
• Identify prospect customers and generate/follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations based on customers' needs.
• Understand the market, monitor conditions and competitors' products, prices and sales.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate safety programs to customers at sale inception.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
