Job summary

TruTeam is seeking a Sales Consultant in the United States (Fresno, CA area) to drive sales of insulation and building materials to residential and light commercial customers.

You will identify prospects, conduct daily sales calls, and build trusted relationships while meeting monthly targets. The role emphasizes safety, product knowledge, and end-to-end project ownership within a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customers’ needs and interests.
• Understand the market you serve, monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitor offerings.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate safety programs to customers at sale inception by inspecting job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
