Measurement Control Systems, Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Sales and Application Engineer to support the sales team with lead follow-up, opportunity management, quotes, and order processing, ensuring smooth transactional cycles and high customer satisfaction.

You will combine strong technical knowledge of instrumentation with excellent customer service, prepare competitive quotes, coordinate with internal teams, and drive revenue while maintaining CRM records.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical background is required.
Minimum 2–3 years in application engineering, inside sales support, technical sales, or customer support.
Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to pass background checks as required.
Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

Execute timely follow-up on leads and advance opportunities through the sales pipeline.
Develop accurate, competitive quotes and proposals based on customer specs.
Process and manage customer orders with production, logistics, and finance teams.
Provide post-sales technical support including installation guidance and troubleshooting.
Maintain CRM records of interactions, specs, quotes, and orders.
Collaborate with Account Managers and Business Development staff to support the full sales cycle.
