Job summary

MRC Global in California is seeking a customer-focused sales support professional to provide technical assistance on instrumentation and controls and to coordinate with Supply Management to meet customer specs.

You will quote prices, process orders, maintain records, and help size actuators for valves, while delivering timely responses to customers and vendors. Travel within and outside the region may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of PVF products and ability to read specifications.
• Experience in customer service or inside sales with increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support for customers regarding product specifications and troubleshoot applications.
• Size pneumatic and electric actuators for valves and assist in selecting products.
• Enter and maintain purchase orders, quotes, and procurement matches.
• Maintain accurate records, price catalogs, and customer lists.
