Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is building a semiconductor plant in New Albany, Ohio. The role provides engineering assistance to superintendents and craft professionals, supports cost/time scheduling, and ensures quality in materials and equipment.

The position focuses on installation verification, coordination with engineering for constructability, and management of subcontractor activities to meet project goals and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in a related field.
• 5–12 years of relevant construction or heavy industrial experience depending on level.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage subcontractors in complex projects.
• Knowledge of ES&H requirements and Bechtel Core Processes.

Responsibilities

• Apply drawings, specs, inspections and quality verifications on site.
• Prepare field quantity lists and initiate field purchases as needed.
• Review drawings and schedules; verify temporary facilities and as-built drawings.
• Guide fellow engineers and superintendents in interpreting designs and planning deliveries.
• Review contracts, PO's, inspection reports and technical data.
• Coordinate with engineering on constructability and supervise subcontractors.
• Assist in construction estimates, cost studies, schedules and budgets.
• Analyze activities to determine scope, time and resource needs.
• Ensure vendor bids conform to specifications and align with safety goals.
