Job summary

Bechtel is building a major semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, OH. The role supports field supervision on structural equipment and material installation across the project’s phases.

You will coordinate with design, fabrication, and field teams, execute takeoffs, manage requisitions, and help ensure compliance with plans, specs, and safety requirements. Excellent communication and hands-on problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent and 5–8 years of relevant experience, or 9–12 years with at least 5 years in civil/structural construction.
• Proficient with structural steel erection practices and AISC standards.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for coordination of structural execution in the yard and field.
• Assist Advanced Work Packaging team with developing work packages.
• Perform field material takeoffs from design drawings.
• Prepare field material requisitions and monitor PO/delivery status.
• Assist Lead Structural FE with inspection/test plans development.
• Conduct inspections and document field work progress.
• Review quality docs for accuracy against inspection plans.
