Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. The Area Lead Instrumentation Field Engineer will plan, coordinate and oversee instrumentation work, ensuring conformance with project specs, safety standards, and schedules.

The role interfaces with engineering, construction, quality, subcontractors, commissioning and management, supporting planning, turnover and issue resolution throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 8–14 years of instrumentation/controls experience for major projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and provide technical oversight of instrumentation and controls systems on the project.
• Interface with engineering, construction, quality, and commissioning teams to support turnover and commissioning.
• Manage instrumentation field engineers and assist Area Field Engineer and Area Manager.
• Develop site and area work processes and plans for instrumentation activities.
• Ensure installation aligns with project specs, safety standards and schedules.
