Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a skilled field engineer to support Port Arthur LNG project in Texas. You will assist in work planning, material management, quantity validation, safety and quality control, and system turnover coordination.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience or 5–6 years in related work, with knowledge of construction and instrumentation processes, MS Office, and data management. Candidates must be able to operate in a heavy industrial environment and adhere to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction and instrumentation processes.
• Good knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with data management and/or database usage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates work planning & packaging: develop drawings, sketches, schedules for manpower, materials, equipment.
• Material management: initiate field purchases, prepare quantity takeoffs.
• Quantities: verify commodities in tracking systems.
• Safety/Quality: enforce zero-accident philosophy and safe operation of tools/equipment.
• Technical: support engineers and technicians in interpreting design and vendor documents.
• System Turnover Coordinator: develop and package turnover docs for startup and client.
