Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation seeks a Field Engineer for LNG plant projects across the US Gulf Coast. You will provide project field engineering specialization, work planning, material management, quantity verification, safety and quality control, and subcontract coordination.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in field construction, LNG experience, and strong knowledge of industry codes, Bechtel processes, and BSAP tools. This role requires mobility across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 5–8 years of relevant experience or 9–12 years total.
• Experience in field construction with specifications, vendor procedures, and codes.
• Proven ability to motivate and lead teams in a collaborative environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills under high-pressure conditions.
• Experience on LNG, oil, gas, refinery, or similar energy projects.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and related construction tools.
• Working knowledge of industry codes and Bechtel processes.
• Experience managing technical services subcontracts.
• Familiarity with LNG construction site requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of BSAPs: Setroute, Unifier, Aconex, DSCS, PTR, Agile, Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Prepares construction drawings and sketches.
• Facilitates planning of construction methods and procedures.
• Oversees site material management and requisitions.
• Verifies quantities using tracking systems.
• Ensures safety and quality control compliance.
• Coordinates inspections and testing activities.
• Supports system turnover and subcontract reviews.
