Job summary
Quanta Power Solutions is seeking an Instrumentation Engineer I to support the design, development, and implementation of instrumentation and control systems for power generation, renewable energy, battery energy storage, data centers, substations, transmission, and industrial projects.
This entry-level role works under the guidance of senior engineers to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient process control solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or related engineering discipline.
- 0–2 years of instrumentation, controls, or automation experience.
- Internship or co-op in EPC, power generation, industrial, or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in design and development of instrumentation and control systems for EPC projects.
- Support preparation of instrument lists, data sheets, diagrams, and P&IDs markups.
- Assist in selection and specification of field instrumentation and control valves.
- Support integration of instrumentation with PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
- Coordinate instrumentation work with multidisciplinary teams and assist in reviews.
