Quanta Power Solutions is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer III to design, implement, and optimize control systems for power generation projects.

Based in our Birmingham hub, this role will focus on simple cycle and combined cycle generation, as well as emerging battery energy storage systems, supporting critical infrastructure that meets growing energy demand driven by data centers and industrial load growth.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of instrumentation and controls experience.
• Hands-on with PLC/DCS systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Emerson, Honeywell).
• Knowledge of ISA/IEC standards.
• Strong communication and team collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Design instrumentation and control systems for power generation facilities.
• Create P&IDs, control narratives, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams.
• Specify instrumentation and PLC/DCS hardware.
• Develop control strategies for turbines and BOP.
• Support procurement with technical specs and vendor evals.
• Participate in HAZOPs, SIL assessments, safety reviews.
• Provide commissioning support and start-up activities.
• Ensure compliance with codes and client specs.
• Mentor junior engineers.
