Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an Instrumentation/Electrical Technician to provide technical support for construction, plant facilities, and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on control systems, gas compression, pipelines, SCADA, and related equipment at gas and liquid facilities.

The role includes inspecting and maintaining PLCs/DCS, interpreting electrical drawings, and ensuring compliance with DOT and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Proficient with MS Office; able to document and report findings.
• Experience troubleshooting, designing, or configuring control solutions.
• Knowledge of NEC/OSHA 1910 related to electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems and plant equipment.
• Maintain PLCs/DCS and process or safety control systems.
• Read and interpret manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Test, calibrate, and document control devices per relevant regulations.
• Participate in call out/on-call requirements.
• Provide mentoring and oversight to less experienced staff.
