Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an instrument and electrical technician to support field operations, plants, and pipelines. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on control systems, SCADA, and related equipment at gas and liquid facilities.

The role requires experience with PLC/DCS, instrumentation, and electrical distribution, plus DOT/OSHA knowledge; on-call duties are expected, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with control systems and instrumentation preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT 192/193/195 and OSHA 1910 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA, instrument and electrical equipment in plants and pipelines.
• Maintain PLC/DCS systems and process/safety controls.
• Read manuals, drawings and schematics; document tasks.
• Support on-call requirements and safety initiatives.
