Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an instrument and electrical technical specialist to support construction, plant facilities, and field operations. You will repair, install, and troubleshoot control systems including SCADA, PLC/DCS, and associated equipment across gas/liquid facilities and pipelines.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and relevant experience with industrial controls, safety standards, and documentation. On-site work with call-out duties is possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Experience with industrial control software and tools.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and OSHA 1910 standards.
• Knowledge of PLC/DCS, SCADA systems and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA, PLC/DCS, and instrument/electrical equipment.
• Repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Read manuals, drawings, and schematics; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Test and document control devices per DOT and safety standards.
• Support on-call duties and mentor less experienced staff.
